As a freelance Illustrator & Designer with 21 years' experience, I have enjoyed a diverse range of projects with publishers and design companies across Britain and Europe. My work has been extensively published (see my CV).
While in London I worked in-house at Gisela Graham Ltd and Think Pink, (now Floss & Rock) where my designs sold in major retailers including Harrods, John Lewis, Marks & Spencer and Mothercare, as well as smaller independent boutiques. Now I live and work in Bath as a freelance illustrator, working with clients that include Ling Designs, Martin Gulliver, and more recently Widdop & Co.
My style is fresh and colourful with a commercial element that lends itself to both book illustration and gift products, with character designs that have been adapted for stationery, greeting cards, gift wrap, children's toys and textiles.
Regular commissions have included designing animal doorstops for Marks & Spencer's Home Department and Children's Dinner Sets for Martin Gulliver Designs, retailing across Europe & the UK, and in John Lewis.
See my 'Gift Products' page.
The diversity of projects has taught me flexibility and versatility in adapting my designs to satisfy clients' needs. I see this as a central feature of my working relationships.
